Joint Youth Summer Fun

  • Tuesday’s Together: 
    • 5:30-7pm at Good Shepherd……Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic dinner and join in shared fun. 
      • June 4th: We will be doing S’mores Church and sing-a-long. 
      • July 9th: We will play a game of kickball.  Maybe Adults versus Kids!!   
        • (On Both Dates our rain plan is game night in the church.  If you have a favorite game you are encouraged to bring it!!)
      • Our August Date is Monday, the 5th and we will go to a Honker’s game.  More information is coming.  
  • June 10-13th Art Camp at OSLC. More information to follow (Waiting for information from Greg). 
  • June 14-16  Father Child Retreat at Camp Onamia  Follow link for more information.  Contact Pastor Ben Loven to be registered.  
  • June 16-21st Confirmation Camp at GEV for youth grades 6-8.  Head to Good Earth Village’s website to register and let your pastor know if you have.  
  • June 17-20th: Art Camp @ Zumbro Lutheran Church 9am-Noon
    • If you are interested we encourage youth to sign up for the art camp at Zumbro available to youth ages K-12.  Zumbro Lutheran Church Art Camp (go to the bottom of the page).  
  • Joint Worship Services.  
    • July 7th at Good Shepherd at 9:30.  Hymn Sing followed by a pot-luck, fellowship and games.  
    • July 21st at Our Saviors at 9:00am.  The preacher will be the presiding Bishop Eaton and her message recorded from the youth gathering the youth are at.  
    • August 11th you have two options.  Good Shepherd 9:30 will have an outdoor worship service with a camp style sing-along.  9:00 at Our Saviors will have a traditional worship service inside. 
  • July 26-28 Family Camp at GEV.  Register for this on GEV’s website! 
  • July 14-21st ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.  Pray for the 13 youth and 3 adults we are sending to this fabulous event.  Hear more about the trip at worship on Rally Sunday. 
  • July 26-31st Village Kids Day Camp at GEV for youth K-4th grades.  Sign up ASAP at the Good Earth Village Website.  Pick up and drop off will be at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester. 
  • August 10-11th Camp out at Good Shepherd.  Many games, laughs, campfire stories and songs will happen and will conclude with the camp worship on Sunday Morning.
